Electrical QA/QC

Our client is seeking experienced QA/QC Inspector to join a major construction project in Port Hedland, WA. This is a hands-on quality assurance and quality control role working across Stage 1 of a large-scale construction project, with a primary focus on ITR documentation, workpacks, inspections, and quality compliance activities. You will play a key role in ensuring project quality requirements are achieved while supporting construction and commissioning readiness activities.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to join a well-established project team delivering critical infrastructure works in a FIFO environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a significant project during an exciting phase while working alongside experienced construction and commissioning professionals.

About the Project

The project is currently entering a key delivery stage, with QA/QC personnel required to support Stage 1 construction activities. The role will focus heavily on the preparation, review and management of Inspection Test Records (ITRs), quality documentation and workpacks to ensure project compliance and successful project delivery.

About You

You are an experienced QA/QC professional with a strong understanding of construction quality systems and project documentation. You take pride in delivering accurate, compliant work and enjoy working closely with project teams to achieve quality outcomes.

You Will Bring:

• Previous QA/QC experience within construction, mining, energy or heavy industrial projects
• Experience managing and completing ITRs and quality workpacks
• Strong document control and reporting skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
• WA Electrical Licence 
• Current LVR CPR
• White Card

Key Duties:

• Manage and maintain electrical ITRs and quality workpacks
• Conduct inspections of electrical installations and field activities
• Verify construction works align with approved drawings and specifications
• Witness testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Prepare handover documentation and turnover packages
• Identify and manage quality issues, defects and NCRs
• Coordinate with construction, engineering and commissioning teams
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, procedures and standards
• Support project completion, testing and handover milestones
