RED Appointments is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Commercial Construction Electricians for upcoming and ongoing projects across Metro and Greater Metro Adelaide. We partner with several of South Australia's leading electrical contractors, delivering major commercial, industrial, defence, healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work forecast through 2026 and beyond, we are looking to connect with skilled electricians seeking their next opportunity.
The Opportunity
These opportunities offer the chance to work on a diverse range of commercial construction projects with reputable contractors known for their strong safety culture, quality workmanship, and long-term project pipelines. Roles may vary depending on project requirements and could involve everything from early-stage construction works through to fit-off, testing, commissioning, and project completion.
Some assignments may require DCAC clearance, with suitable candidates considered as opportunities arise.

Projects span a variety of sectors including commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, education precincts, defence infrastructure, industrial developments, and critical infrastructure works.

- Cable tray and ladder installation
- Cable pulling and containment works
- Light and power installation
- Switchboard installation and terminations
- First and second fix electrical works
- Testing and commissioning activities
- General commercial construction electrical installation

About You
You are a qualified electrician who enjoys commercial construction work and takes pride in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical installations. You are reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working productively within a site team environment.
You will bring:
- Commercial construction electrical experience
- Experience with cable tray, ladder, cable pulling, fit-off, and installation works
- Ability to carry out testing and commissioning activities
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements and compliance standards
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Tickets Required
- SA Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
- White Card
- LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
- Yellow Card (SL <11m)
- Working at Heights (desirable)
