Our client is seeking an experienced Storeperson with a Forklift licence to join a major Defence construction project based at Edinburgh, South Australia. This is a site-based role supporting a Tier 1 electrical contractor on a long-term project, offering excellent rates, allowances, and long-term stability.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work on a significant Defence infrastructure project within a well-established site team. Unlike a traditional warehouse environment, this position is based within the project's laydown yard and shipping container storage areas, ensuring materials, equipment, and deliveries are received, managed, and distributed efficiently across the site.
About the Project
This project forms part of a major Defence infrastructure program currently underway in Adelaide's northern suburbs.

- Forklift operation and material handling
- Organising and maintaining site laydown areas
- Distributing materials, parts, and equipment to site teams as required
- Assisting with inventory control and stock management
- Supporting construction crews with timely access to materials
This is a long-term project expected to run for approximately 12-18 months.

- $7.00/hr site allowance on all hours worked

About You
You are an experienced Storeperson who enjoys working in a construction environment and takes pride in keeping materials and equipment organised, accessible, and accounted for. You are safety-focused, reliable, and capable of managing competing priorities within a busy project environment.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or material handling role
- Forklift operating experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects (advantageous)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Tickets Required
- High Risk Forklift Licence
- Current South Australian Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Australian Citizen for a minimum of 5 years
- Ability to obtain required Defence clearances
- Australian Federal Police Check (or willingness to complete one)
