Our client is a long-established and highly respected electrical services provider delivering specialist maintenance, infrastructure, and high-voltage solutions across South Australia. Due to continued growth, opportunities are available for experienced HV Technicians to join their Engineering Services team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of high-voltage and electrical infrastructure projects while supporting a broad client base throughout South Australia.

You will join an experienced team delivering planned maintenance, shutdown works, upgrades, commissioning activities, and emergency response services. This is a hands-on role suited to electricians looking to further develop their expertise within the HV sector while enjoying long-term career stability.

About the Project

Working within a specialist maintenance and engineering services division, you will provide electrical and high-voltage support across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and utility environments.

Projects include:
 

• High-voltage maintenance and infrastructure shutdowns
• High-voltage cable terminations
• High-voltage switching activities
• Switchgear replacements and retrofit works
• Assisting protection engineers with commissioning and setup of HV switchgear and equipment
• Planned maintenance and emergency response activities
• Electrical maintenance services across South Australia

This role may involve occasional regional travel, overnight stays, and participation in an on-call roster.

About You

You are an experienced electrician with strong commercial maintenance experience and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. You enjoy problem solving, building client relationships, and being part of a professional maintenance team.

You will bring:
 

• Strong commercial electrical installation and maintenance experience
• High-voltage experience or interest in developing within the HV sector
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes
• Flexibility to participate in on-call and planned shutdown activities

Tickets Required
 

• A-Class Electrical Licence
• White Card
• LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
• First Aid Certificate
• Current South Australian Driver's Licence
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
